We welcome you to submit a paper to CEE-SECR 2009

Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to present their ongoing work and results on software engineering. Papers, presentations, topics for round-tables, and workshops are solicited for inclusion at the conference. Submissions will be reviewed by an international Program committee using double-blind review process. In 2008 the Program Committee accepted 62% of submitted papers; in 2009 we expect to low down acceptance rate to 50%.

The conference topics include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Experience reports and industry-specific solutions;
    In 2009 we will have special tracks for financial, telecommunications and oil-gas industries;
  2. Platforms and Technology;
  3. Human Aspects in Software Engineering;
  4. Software Project Management;
  5. Software Process;
  6. Business.

To get more information about submission process and requirements, download Сall for Papers.

Please upload your papers via the submission engine at https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/secr2009 before September 12, 2009. An article template is available for download at /docs/cee-secr-2009-template.doc. Please remove all occurrences of the authors’ names/affiliation from the submitted papers, as they will undergo a double-blind review. Authors’ names/affiliations will be added only to camera-ready versions of the accepted articles. Papers can be written either in Russian or in English; however, each paper must have an abstract in English (up to 1000 characters). Please also consider tips from mini tutorial “Writing Good Software Engineering Research Papers”.

When you submit your paper, you are giving the rights to the conference committee to publish your article(s) in conference proceedings and reference them in conference materials such as booklets, newsletters, website, etc.

Speakers (authors of the accepted papers presenting at the conference) will get free passes to the event.

Do not hesitate to contact Natalia Mishina, PC Chair Assistant (natalia.mishina@gmail.com , +7-(964)-566-8799) in case you have any questions or need any help.
