Union of Two Conferences: SQA Days and CEE-SECR Became Partners
The 6th conference “Software Quality Assurance Days” will be held on October 28-29, 2009, within the 5th Central and Eastern European Software Engineering Conference in Russia.
CEE-SECR is one of the largest events in the world of IT in CEE countries. Each year the conference is attended by prominent representatives from domestic and international software companies providing all participants with an opportunity to exchange experience with their counterparts from other countries.
The union of the two conferences this year will be a direct confirmation of the integrated approach to IT-infrastructure quality control and assurance. The event is focused on specialists working at different levels of business around the world, from small companies to big corporations.
As Vladislav Orlikov, chair of the SQA Days Organizing Committee, said, such partnership promotes development of information technologies in Russia and other countries both within and outside the CIS:
“Cooperation with SECR has become the next step for the SQA Days team towards implementing the concept of cooperation in the IT-industry. As always, we concentrate our efforts on three main aspects: reliability, efficiency and usability of information for each participant.”
This year’s SECR Conference will be held for the fifth time. The jubilee event is planned to introduce a number of new initiatives part of which are for the moment kept in secret by the organizers. Among those already known is free participation of the winners of the most popular Russian and international IT-competitions. At the top of the list are the winners of the Imagine Cup finals, which has partnered with CEE-SECR Conference this year.
“Each year we aim to improve the quality of the CEE-SECR Conference. The partnership with the SQA Days will help us deliver more value to CEE-SECR participants. I hope we’ll succeed in introducing the best practices of this event and making CEE-SECR-2009 even more beneficial for the software community,” said Denis Milov, executive VP of TEKAMA (Moscow-based company that is the key organizer of the event).
