This paper is dedicated to analysis of factors, influencing on working efficiency in process of development or adjustment of software. By this material author would like to invite readers to think about and discuss the question of efficiency enhancement, and to specify several directions and approaches of solving this problem.
The paper considers three aspects of production activity in IT sector. They are: definition of requirements specification, arrangement of work-site and working time and arrangement of development environment. For every listed aspect, the directions of efficiency enhancement are defined (for further discussion), and practical methods realized in our company are shown (as an example). Their application already gave us measurable results.
